Harlaxton Medieval Symposium 2025: Booking Form

Please complete the following form in order to submit a booking for the 2025 Harlaxton Medieval Symposium. Once received, the secretaries will respond with details of how to pay (both by bank transfer and by cheque). The deadline for booking residential places is Friday 20th June 2025 and for non-residential places Friday 18th July 2025.

Any refunds for the cancellation of bookings after the registration deadline cannot be guaranteed, and are subject to the discretion of Madingley Hall.

7 fully-funded scholarships (covering conference and residential fees, but excluding travel costs) are available for 2025. These require the completion of a separate application form – please see below for further details.

Includes breakfast. All prices are per person. Please note that there are limited numbers of each room type, which will be allocated on a first-come basis. If your choice of accommodation is no longer available, the secretaries will advise you of any options. Ample alternative accommodation is available in Cambridge.
We will require both attendees sharing a room to complete a separate form and make separate payment before the deadline.

Information for Postgraduates and Early Career Researchers:

Seven scholarships (covering all fees, but excluding transport to and from the venue) are available for PGRs/ECRs whose research relates closely to the theme of this year’s Symposium. Two Dobson Scholarships, funded by the Symposium, and five Yorkist History Trust scholarships are available. The deadline for both applications and booking forms is Friday 16th May 2025. A limited number of bursaries may be available to help with travel costs for PGR/ECR attendance at the Symposium.

Scholarship recipients and those applying for bursaries are required to prepare work-in-progress presentation highlighting their research. Further details may be found at www.harlaxton.org/pgr-presentation-competition.
